As a child, I would wrap my cat up in a blanket and carry it around like a baby. Protesting, he would not remain bundled up for long. Jumping out of my hands, he would head for a neighbour's garden. Presented with a golden opportunity to sneak into my neighbour's house and nose around, I would follow him and have an afternoon of adventure.
